FHCA's Elopement Prevention Resources are focused on helping skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and assisted living facilities (ALFs) prevent future elopements. These tools are designed to assist providers with making determinations about elopement, evaluating the incidents, initiating root cause analyses and action steps. Materials are also available to help with staff training and review of elopement procedures.
