Johanna has a B.S. in PlantScience and a Doctor of Plant Medicine (DPM) both from the University ofFlorida. For the past 15 years, she has worked as a cropconsultant and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) researcher onpest management in South Florida. After moving to the Florida panhandle,she has worked for both the USDA and the Florida Department of Agriculture(FDACS) trapping, surveying, and educating on invasive pests. For thepast 9 years, she has been an Environmental Specialist for FDACS doingoutreach, education, providing support to other agencies and trapping if neededfor Formosan and Conehead termites, mosquitos, and bed bugs. She’s basedout of Pensacola and focused on nearby counties but travel throughout the Statewhere needed.
