Virtual, Live Events: February 12, 19, 26, and March 4 and 11, 2026

This 10-hour specialized training series supports the understanding of the ICD-10 Coding Manual and how to effectively use it to code and sequence resident conditions. Through five, two-hour virtual sessions, participants will learn key coding conventions and guidelines, key terminology definitions, chapter-specific coding guidelines relevant to skilled nursing facilities, along with common pitfalls to avoid when coding diagnoses and the MDS. Presenters will also review components of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) manual and how diagnoses and coding play an essential role in MDS, care planning and reimbursement under the Patient Driven Payment Model.
Virtual, Live Broadcast Program:
This program will be delivered via five, two-hour virtual, live sessions from 1:30 - 1:30 p.m. EST on the dates below. Registered attendees will receive an email by February 10, 2026, with instructions on how to access the first virtual training, which will be broadcast via Zoom. Attendees must complete the post-test to receive CEUs.

Robin A. Bleier RN, HCRM, LNC, is President/CEO of RB Health Partners, Inc. She has 40 years of health care experience, 30 of which are in long term care. Robin's passion is teaching and training with a focus on risk management as a means to help improve quality and resident outcomes while increasing long term care professional's work satisfaction. Robin worked as a nursing assistant, LPN, RN, DON, regional nurse, CCO, and COO. She now owns and operates RB Health Partners, Inc. (RBHPs) a long-term care consultancy firm for the past 20 years. RBHPs employs an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts and consultants to support long term care providers meet their quality improvement goals.
Heather Py
Director of Health Information Management

Heather L. Py, is the Director of Health Information Management with RB Health Partners, Inc. She began her career in long-term care as a Certified Nurse Aid and worked her way up to Medical Records Coordinator. Mrs. Py holds an Associates in Science Degree in Health Information Management (HIM). She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and is certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS). She is also a member of the American Association of Post-Acute Nurse Care Nursing (AAPACN) and holds an Advanced Certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CTA). As a subject matter expert in long-term care, Heather brings over 26 years of knowledge and experience to her clients in the areas of health information management and diagnosis coding.
