As part of a long term care center's efforts to reduce rehospitalizations, nurses should be comfortable with early detection of respiratory changes. The Moxie Health Group has created this on-demand video to start the discussion and support better clinical assessment and observation skills for nurses in a skilled nursing facility. The video can be used as part of focused in-service to strengthen staff confidence in identifying subtle changes before they escalate. Reinforcing early recognition, timely assessment, and appropriate provider communication can significantly reduce avoidable hospital transfers related to respiratory compromise.
