Florida long term care centers are facing a significant demand for nurses due to an aging population and increasing healthcare needs. This webinar will highlight several long-term strategies to develop a pipeline of clinical nursing staff to address vacancies. Hear from Joanne Hoertz with Brooks Rehabilitation on their use of external recruiting, international nurse recruiting, partnerships with community nursing programs/state workforce funding initiatives and innovative flexible staffing models to meet their workforce needs. The program will also review successful and unsuccessful strategies in onboarding and educating new clinical team members. If you are not able to attend live, the recording will be provided to you.

Joanne Stevens Hoertz, RN, MSN, CRRN, is the Senior Vice President for Nursing and CNE at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville. There she collaboratively provides clinical, financial, and administrative leadership for nursing services across all of the Brooks Rehabilitation sites: Inpatient Rehab Hospital, Skilled Nursing at two campuses and a large home health agency.
